Posted June 26th 2017 in Latest News, News and Updates,

Low-cost airline, Norwegian will launch four direct weekly flights between London Gatwick and Seattle from 17 September. Norwegian will exclusively fly brand new Boeing 787 Dreamliners offering passengers modern and spacious premium and economy cabins. The direct service departs Gatwick at 9:50am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with a late morning arrival of 11:45am in Seattle allowing passengers to start their trip immediately. Norwegian’s flights back to London depart at 1:35pm, landing bright and early the following morning at 7:05am.

This follows increased capacity in March when Virgin Atlantic took over Delta’s Heathrow – Seattle route.  Virgin Atlantic also offers a Dreamliner service.  Construction of Dreamliners can be seen on a Boeing Future of Flight Tour  at Everett, just north of Seattle.

These changes will increase capacity by 70,000 aircraft seats each year connecting Heathrow and Gatwick direct non-stop to Seattle in 2017- 18.

British Airways continues with its long-established daily service from Heathrow to Seattle and Icelandair offers flights from seven UK airports to Seattle via Reykjavik.

Seattle is gaining wide recognition as one of the most exciting cities in the USA.  Washington State offers spectacular adventure, sublime road trips and superb wine, beer and cuisine in every direction from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.  Ensure that you and your customers are ahead of the curve.
